- GTM-heavy FDE, not deployment-focused
- Sells AI infrastructure to enterprises
- Owns technical demos and sales
- Credible with Fortune 50 executives
Human Delta is hiring its first Technical Account Executive to lead enterprise sales for its AI infrastructure platform. This is a deeply technical, revenue-owning role—not a traditional AE position, and not a deployment-focused FDE role.
Human Delta sells to some of the most sophisticated technical buyers in the world, including CIOs, Heads of AI, and leaders of enterprise AI Centers of Excellence at Fortune 50 companies. Because the product is infrastructure-heavy, these buyers expect someone who can go deep on AI architectures, infrastructure, agent workflows, and enterprise AI strategy—not a traditional salesperson relying on engineers to answer technical questions.
You'll effectively combine the technical credibility of a Forward Deployed Engineer or Solutions Engineer with the commercial ownership of an Account Executive. You'll lead technical discovery, run product demonstrations, navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, build executive relationships, and drive deals to close. Product and Engineering own deployments and customer success, allowing you to focus on winning new business.
You'll work directly alongside both founders as one of the company's first faces in the market, helping establish its enterprise GTM motion from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Own enterprise sales end-to-end: Source and qualify opportunities, lead technical discovery, manage complex enterprise sales cycles, and drive deals through closing.
- Sell AI infrastructure to technical executives: Engage CIOs, Heads of AI, and other senior technical decision-makers who expect deep product and architectural knowledge.
- Lead technical demos and evaluations: Independently demonstrate the platform, explain its architecture, handle sophisticated technical objections, and articulate business value.
- Build relationships with Fortune 50 customers: Represent Human Delta through in-person executive meetings, customer dinners, conferences, and technical workshops.
- Develop the GTM playbook: Work directly with the founders to identify target markets, refine positioning, establish repeatable sales processes, and improve conversion.
- Influence product direction: Bring market intelligence, technical buyer feedback, and competitive insights back to Product and Engineering.
- Help scale the commercial organization: As the company grows, help onboard future technical sellers and potentially develop into a leadership role.
Who You Are
- Technically exceptional: You understand modern AI infrastructure, LLMs, agents, evaluations, orchestration, APIs, and enterprise AI architectures well enough to independently engage sophisticated technical buyers.
- Commercially driven: You genuinely enjoy selling, persuading, building relationships, and winning business—not just building software or supporting someone else's sales process.
- Credible with enterprise executives: You can confidently lead conversations with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of AI, and senior engineering leadership.
- Experienced in technical pre-sales: Ideally, you've owned technical discovery, product demos, evaluations, and helped advance or close complex enterprise deals.
- Deeply AI-native: You actively follow the latest AI models, products, infrastructure platforms, and competitive developments, and can translate that knowledge into compelling customer conversations.
- Exceptionally strong communicator: You can move seamlessly between an architectural deep dive, executive-level business discussion, and commercial negotiation.
- Charismatic and relationship-oriented: You have the energy, confidence, interpersonal judgment, and presence to become a trusted face of Human Delta with major enterprise customers.
- High-agency and entrepreneurial: You're comfortable creating opportunities, operating without a playbook, traveling to customers, and building an early-stage GTM function.
- Motivated by early-stage startups: You want meaningful ownership and the opportunity to build something from the ground up.
Ideal Background
Highest-priority profiles:
- Technical Account Executives, Sales Engineers, or Solutions Engineers at AI infrastructure companies such as Glean, Braintrust, or similar platforms.
- Technical GTM professionals at frontier AI labs or companies selling sophisticated AI products to enterprise buyers.
- Forward Deployed Engineers who have substantial pre-sales and commercial ownership, rather than primarily implementing customer solutions.
- Technical founders who have personally sold complex AI or infrastructure products to enterprise customers.
- Early technical sales hires at high-growth AI startups who have demonstrated both technical credibility and commercial execution.
Other relevant backgrounds:
- Palantir, Scale AI, Sierra, or similar technically demanding enterprise AI companies, provided the candidate has meaningful pre-sales experience.
- Enterprise AI Solutions Architects or technical consultants who actively helped win business, not just deliver projects.
- Exceptional early-career engineers or founders with demonstrated technical selling ability.
- Experience: Early-career, high-potential candidates are welcome. Technical depth, enterprise buyer credibility, commercial ownership, and exceptional communication matter more than years of experience.
The Opportunity
- This is a founding commercial hire with direct exposure to the founders and some of the world's largest enterprise customers.
- Human Delta's GTM strategy is intentionally high-touch and in-person. Rather than relying entirely on remote outbound, the team builds relationships through executive dinners, on-site technical sessions, workshops, and strategic customer engagements.
- You'll help establish how Human Delta sells AI infrastructure to the world's most sophisticated enterprises, shape its market positioning, and play a central role in building the company's technical sales organization.
- The ideal candidate is a deeply technical AI-native seller who can walk into a Fortune 50 CIO's office, independently explain and demonstrate complex AI infrastructure, earn the buyer's trust, and drive the relationship toward a signed contract.
