- Clear mechanical aptitude
- Coachable and open to guidance
- Trade-school/construction background
Forge needs to expand its machining capacity over the next few months, with five junior machinists among a broader plan to hire seven machinists by the end of Q1 2027. Junior hires will be trained in-house because inbound applications have been limited and the local talent pool is small.
You’ll run assigned CNC operations, learn to interpret 3D models and 2D drawings, and progressively build toward independent part production. The primary initial focus is mastering a defined operation—potentially for several months—before taking on more complex work while maintaining Forge’s four-day turnaround and sharing shop-floor feedback with the engineers building manufacturing tools.
