About Eragon
Eragon’s core thesis is that companies should own their intelligence, rather than being trapped inside one provider’s models, pricing, and privacy terms. The product is a model router that routes across 450+ models (open and closed source), hostable anywhere (locally, in the customer’s own cloud, or elsewhere), giving full control over analytics and how AI is used across the org. It is a chat interface plus an easy way to launch enterprise agents that can do real work (pay an invoice, go hire someone). Backed by a16z Speedrun, Soma Capital, Axiom Partners, AltaIR Capital, and Beat Ventures. The company is a global one, selling worldwide, with about 100 customers from seed-to-Series-B names like Corgi and Slash up to larger enterprises like Deel, Prodware, and other public companies. They have deployed engineers on-site with customers globally (most recently two engineers for a week in Abu Dhabi, also France and elsewhere), and they have a company apartment to help relocate new hires into the city.

About This Role

Eragon is adding its first dedicated growth and marketing owner as it expands its customer and market presence. This hire will address the need for a focused owner who can turn Eragon’s technical capabilities and customer value into clear messaging, community engagement, partnerships, and demand-generation activity on a small team.

You’ll own growth and marketing while working closely with the chief of staff and head of growth. Day to day, you’ll plan events, build community initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, run product marketing campaigns, coordinate messaging across teams and partners, and bring audience feedback back to product and go-to-market teams. The primary spike is building and owning the growth and marketing function end to end without an established playbook.

What You'll Own

  • Plan and deliver in-person events for relevant audiences and deepen customer and community relationships.
  • Build community initiatives that create ongoing engagement around Eragon and applied AI.
  • Develop and execute strategic partnerships that extend Eragon’s reach and create mutual value.
  • Create and run product marketing campaigns explaining Eragon’s capabilities, use cases, and customer value.
  • Coordinate messaging and execution across channels, teams, and partners.
  • Gather audience and customer feedback and share it with product and go-to-market teams.
  • Work closely with the chief of staff and head of growth.

Technical Requirements

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, including the ability to make technical products clear and compelling.
  • Experience creating and executing product marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to coordinate messaging and execution across multiple channels and stakeholders.
  • Comfort learning and communicating about AI products and use cases.

Execution and Ownership

  • Own growth and marketing on a small, scrappy team.
  • Operate with high autonomy and initiative in an environment without a fully established playbook.
  • Manage multiple events, community, partnership, and campaign initiatives through execution and follow-through.
  • Test ideas, learn from campaign and event results, and apply those learnings to future work.
  • Represent Eragon with customers, community members, and partners.

Background

  • 2–6 years of experience in growth or product marketing, events, community building, partnerships, or a related field.
  • Experience working at a startup or in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience owning or contributing to growth, marketing, community, events, partnerships, or related initiatives.
  • Nontraditional backgrounds, including former founders or candidates with a clear strength in another area, may be considered.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building a growth or marketing function at a high-growth startup.
  • Experience with community initiatives, strategic partnerships, or in-person events.
  • Experience marketing AI or other technical products.
  • A distinctive area of deep expertise or demonstrated strength in growth, marketing, or an adjacent field.

Who Will Thrive Here This role suits a high-agency growth marketer who enjoys owning a broad remit, making technical products understandable, and building momentum through events, community, partnerships, and campaigns. You’ll thrive if you are genuinely curious, comfortable testing ideas without a playbook, and energized by a small, fast-moving team.
