- Break into new verticals via ABM + experiments
- Builder not maintainer; no playbook, high ownership
- Data-driven; 4+ yrs fintech growth/demand-gen
- Rho/Slash/Stripe/Ramp/Chime-type rocket ship
Coinflow's marketing function is small, fast, and already driving pipeline — a multi-voice content engine, a packed events calendar, and a growing inbound motion built from scratch over the past year. This role owns the growth layer on top of it: turning brand and content momentum into repeatable, measurable pipeline. It's a builder's role, not a maintainer's — and its headline mandate is diversifying verticals: running the ABM and growth experiments that break Coinflow into new industries (travel/hospitality, restaurants, logistics, imports/exports) and new regions (Europe, LatAm), figuring out what the brand should say to each, whether any rebranding is needed, and owning demand generation hand-in-hand with sales/GTM. There's no set playbook — just hypotheses and ideas — so it demands high ownership and autonomy to drive the roadmap.
Day to day: own outbound campaign activation end-to-end (audience, offer, channel, creative, follow-up) with Revenue and the SDR function; design and run growth experiments across paid, email, LinkedIn, events, and lifecycle with clear hypotheses and fast iteration; own pipeline metrics (qualified leads, meetings booked, CPQL, marketing-attributed pipeline); build/optimize the demand funnel (landing pages, conversion paths, forms, nurture); run ABM for new verticals; and keep clean attribution (UTM discipline, Attio CRM, PostHog). Jess stressed a genuinely data-driven, analytical operator — one who digs past surface dashboards to the "why" — since the current far-along candidate wobbled on exactly that (contradicting data in his experiment case study). Once a new market is entered, this person keeps owning that pipeline — optimizing the funnel, feeding sales qualified leads, and expanding into the next segment/region.
Key Responsibilities
- Own ABM programs and growth experiments to break into new verticals (travel/hospitality, restaurants, logistics, imports/exports) and regions (EU, LatAm)
- Own outbound campaign activation end-to-end with Revenue + SDRs
- Design/run experiments across paid, email, LinkedIn, events, lifecycle — clear hypotheses, fast iteration
- Own pipeline metrics (qualified leads, meetings, CPQL, marketing-attributed pipeline) and report consistently
- Dig into data for the "why"; use AI tools to visualize/communicate insights to leadership
- Build/optimize the demand funnel (landing pages, conversion paths, forms, nurture)
- Manage paid acquisition/retargeting where ROI earns it; partner with content/SEO to convert organic momentum
- Maintain clean attribution (UTM, Attio, PostHog); partner with Partnerships/Events to convert high-intent moments into pipeline
Requirements
- 4+ years in growth, demand gen, or performance marketing — ideally B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments
- Demonstrated track record building/running campaigns that generated measurable pipeline (can point to experiments run, learned, and scaled)
- Proven ABM + demand generation (Jess's baseline must-have for any fintech background)
- Fluency with the modern growth stack: analytics, CRM, marketing automation, paid platforms, attribution (Attio, PostHog, GA a plus; Apollo/ABM sequencing a plus)
- Strong, genuinely data-driven analysis — digs beneath dashboards to the insight; visualizes and presents clearly (AI tools welcome) to influence decisions (the current bar candidate fell short here)
Background
- North Star: growth marketer from a high-growth fintech that scaled fast — Stripe, Ramp, Chime, SpotHero-type — to match Coinflow's pace; but any fintech works with real ABM + demand-gen chops
- 4+ years is the sweet spot; open to betting on strong junior talent if the demand-gen/performance experience is real
- Preferred: marketed a technical/infrastructure product to developer/fintech/payments buyers; payments/stablecoins/financial-infra familiarity (or curiosity + speed to get fluent); stood up growth motions in new verticals from zero
Who Will Thrive Here
- A builder-not-maintainer growth marketer who's broken a fintech into new verticals from zero
- A genuinely analytical operator who finds the "why" behind the numbers, not just the dashboard
- High-ownership, no-playbook, bias-for-action; AI-forward
- Cross-functional glue across Marketing/Revenue/Partnerships
- North Star: came from a Stripe/Ramp/Chime-type fintech rocket ship
