About Anvara
Anvara is the marketplace where brands discover, evaluate, and close sponsorship deals across sports & live events. Brand customers include Delta, Brex, Kalshi, GoPuff, and BeReal; properties include the Chicago Cubs, Colorado Rockies, LAFC, the Wynn, and Major League Pickleball. It’s raised nearly $7M — including from Game Changers Ventures (Roger Ehrenberg’s $100M sports-tech fund; seed investor in The Trade Desk, Datadog, Wise), Marquee Ventures (Cubs ownership group), Sequel, Bryan Rosenblatt (early Robinhood/ClickUp/Carta), and Jonathan Opdyke (founded/sold a company for $250M). The thesis: sponsorship is a $100B+ global market still run on cold emails, spreadsheets, and handshake deals, with no centralized way to buy it like digital media — Anvara is building that. Culture: moonshot goals, customer-obsessed (“11-Star Service”), full ownership, originality/thoughtful dissent, and above all high agency. All roles: in-office 5 days/week, SoHo NYC, lunch included, T&E budget, meaningful early equity, and a personalized perks philosophy (gym, dinners, vacation, education budget — “tell us what it means to you”).

About This Role

You’ll help bring the supply side of the marketplace online — getting rightsholders (sports teams, event organizers, festivals) onto Anvara, helping them list and sell inventory, and building the relationships that make Anvara the default destination for sponsorship. The bigger picture: you’re building infrastructure for an industry that has none — every pro team, music festival, state fair, and event has sponsorship inventory and no scalable way to reach buyers. You’ll work closely with the founders and the senior partnerships lead, learn the business fast, and get real ownership early: your feedback shapes the product, your relationships shape the inventory.

What You’ll Do

  • Run the day-to-day rightsholder pipeline — sourcing → onboarding → ongoing relationship management
  • Run outbound to event organizers, festival producers, venues, live-entertainment properties (following and sharpening the playbook)
  • Run discovery calls and demos; help rightsholders build strong listings (inventory, pricing, packaging, audience)
  • Support the senior partnerships lead on major/multi-property conversations
  • Work with founders on pricing intelligence and vertical prioritization; feed rightsholder insights to product/eng
  • Show up at industry events/dinners; own your numbers (pipeline, onboarding velocity, listing quality)

Requirements

  • 1–2 years in partnerships, sales, sports, live events, entertainment, or related (internships, a college sport, or a business you started all count)
  • Cares about sports/live events; eager to learn how properties monetize and how inventory is structured/priced/valued
  • Hungry, will outwork the room; detail-oriented (clean listings, accurate notes, follow-through)
  • Believes sponsorship is fragmented/archaic and needs rebuilding
  • An operator — owns the relationship first outreach → signed listing, doesn’t hand off
  • Clear communicator and good storyteller (explains a marketplace plainly to a producer or sales director)
  • High agency (requirement); not comfortable with comfortable; a genuine fan of the world (live events, sports, culture)
  • Bonus: a network of property/organizer/venue contacts

Who Will Thrive Here

  • A hungry, detail-obsessed operator early in their career who wants to own supply relationships end to end
  • A genuine sports/live-events fan eager to learn sponsorship economics fast
  • High-agency, playbook-sharpening, comfortable-is-the-enemy type
